STIH Adhyaksa Persiapkan Program Student Exchange ke Turki Melalui MoU Internasional dengan Recep Tayyeb Erdogan University dan Fatih Sultan Mehmet University

Pada tanggal 18 September 2024, Bapak Hasbullah, S.H., M.H selaku Ketua Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Hukum Adhyaksa menandatangani perjanjian kerjasama Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi Internasional dengan Recep Tayyeb Erdogan University di Turki.

Dalam waktu dekat, sebagai bentuk implementasi perjanjian kerjasama internasional dengan Recep Tayyep Erdogan University akan dilaksanakan pertukaran dosen dan mahasiswa yang dijadwalkan pada bulan November sampai dengan Desember 2024.

Selain meliputi bidang tri dharma perguruan tinggi yaitu Pendidikan, Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat diharapkan kerjasama yang terjalin antara kedua belah pihak akan meningkatkan standar mutu perguruan tinggi, penambahan literatur hukum, dan kerjasama internasional antara Indonesia dan Turki.

Hal ini tercermin pada sambutan Bapak Hasbullah, S.H., M.H dalam acara penandatanganan perjanjian kerjasama tri dharma perguruan tinggi dengan Recep Tayyep Erdogan University:

First of all, I would like to thank God Allah SWT who has been giving us blessings and mercies so we can attend today’s gathering in good condition.

Ladies and gentlemen,

I would like to thank the honourable Rector, and everyone who welcomed us today at this wonderful place. My name is Hasbullah. It is such an honor for me to speak here on behalf of Adhyaksa Law School. And I’m here with the head of Academic Affairs and one of our lecturer, Mr. Ikram in Adhyaksa Law School.

 Ladies and gentlemen,

This gathering is a historical time for us, because it is the first Indonesian campus to collaborate with Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, later some of the collaborations that can include:

–    first, in the field of teaching we will have lecturers and students exchange aimed to exchanging information and issues on legal knowledge between Indonesia and Turkey.

–    Second, in the field of legal research, we will be able to conduct joint research for several international legal issues or those related to bilateral relations between Turkey and Indonesia.

–    As we know many Indonesians have businesses in Turkey and we believe that Turkey is a famous country with an extraordinary history that inspires us in Indonesia, even in Indonesia’s politics. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a role model for leaders in my county. Along with an extraordinary Islamic history, Indonesian chooses Turkey as a destination for religious travel besides Saudi Arabia. Therefore, we are seeing the closeness of the relationship between Indonesia and Turkey is not only in politics but also in business, leisure and later on academics.

 Turkey is the best hub for Indonesian products to enter the surrounding areas, the Balkan region which is its spare of influence, as well as Central Asia, and the Middle East are Turkey’s spare of influence. Our data shows the population of Indonesians in Turkey is 7000 people. Of course, with such large population, a good understanding of the law between Turkish law and Indonesian law is much needed. There are not many Indonesian and Turkish legal reference books for example and hopefully this cooperation can produce new legal literature that is both useful for the interests of Indonesian citizens in Turkey and Turkish citizens in Indonesia and other legal interests between the two countries.

 Lastly, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Rector and to Prof. Naim who personally invited us to come here, in return we would also like to invite the Rector, Prof. Naim some of the lecturers and some of the students to come to our campus in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 6th 2024. We are planning to hold an international seminar, and hopefully we can realize this cooperation with a collaborative spirit. Together, we can pave the way for innovative educational practices that empower our future leaders.
